So what is the meaning of Scleranthus?

Scleranthus is a moss herb, and it is also found in the Bach Flower Remedy. It is used to balance yourself when you simply just can't make a decision when you have many alternatives or you don't know where to go or what to do. We believe that doing yoga will help us get balanced. That's why we called it Scleranthus Aerial Yoga.

Fun Fact: Scleranthus herb is found in Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

     Aerial yoga involves an aerial hammock (pictured left) with standing and seated postures intermixed. Each gravity defying pose is both challenging and exhilarating and the fact that you have to give all of your attention to the precise details of each pose requires effort and concentration which relieves stress and anxiety. It's also a lot of fun. Laughter and smiles will come out involuntarily. 

     Kid friendly. Parents can bring their kids because all class packages are sharable.

     Aerial Restorative yoga is a gentle approach to yoga and works by using the hammock has a leverage. For those who are living with chronic pain, stress, or tight muscles this is an excellent yoga to practice. Its benefits include helping to release tension, restore range of motion to muscles and connective tissue, regenerates and rejuvenates.

Yoga Ball and Bungee Fitness for Adults

- High Intensity Workout

  • For core, legs and gluteus. 
  • Increase abdominal and back muscle strength.

This is core training taken to another level, combining yoga ball exercises and bungee fit yoga for a unique workout experience. With cardiovascular, body strengthening and weight loss benefits; this class is challenging but fun! 

Bungee Fit Yoga for Children/Adults with Special-Needs (middle school and older)

- Low - Medium Intensity Workout

     Aerobic and Anaerobic cardio workout. Efficient and healthy for the body that will wear you out but will make you feel so good!

Kundalini Yoga 

    Dynamic movement and asanas bring expanding and contracting pressure via multiple angles to various areas of the body, this is accompanied with powerful pranayamas, the combined effect of which it targets the regions with highly charge and oxygenated blood. It balances all your chakras in your body. You may feel a "runner's high". For internal and external stability and balancing.

Ground Yoga

     We like to do a combination of Animalistic, Vinyasa, Hatha, PTSD, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Stick, and Kundalini Yogas. Best yoga to practice yet also learning a little of every yoga favors knowledge and successful growth in developing your yoga practice. Every class is different and you learn a different approach or a new method. Helps to increase muscular power, range of motion, posture, alignment and helps to awaken the body's energy. Different breathing techniques and mantras are taught here.

Non-Traditional Yoga:
Feel Sexy In Your Own Skin Yoga-Dance

Belly Dance Yoga

     Not your regular yoga class that's for sure. Yoga practice is seen in the beginning and end of class and amid are belly dance moves, & serpentine moves. Shake and sweat!

Our Instructor

A.K.A. MAYDAY

She has been practicing yoga since teenage years and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of yoga training. She lived in a yoga sanctuary for a month as she learned all the asanas and practiced pranayama to center the body and mind. In addition, she is certified in: Aerial Yoga, Kids Yoga, Special-Needs Yoga, Yoga Yeladim (oy vey) and Kundalini Yoga. She's BLS/CPR certified, has completed 3 bachelors, and loves philanthropy. In her college years, she was a CHEM Pal tutor where she has her own class weekly with 20-30 students and tutored chemistry for 2 years for the Chemistry Department at FIU. She also was part of the PLTL program where she led a small class of 12 students and facilitated the learning of biology for 2 years and in addition she was a TA (teacher assistant) for Human Anatomy for both lecture (350 students) and lab (35 students), also for 2 years for the Biology Department at FIU. She has a passion for science and loves to educate students into STEM fields and has participated in STEM speeches. In addition, she is OSHA, HIPAA, HIV/AIDS certified and has worked as a field researcher with Medical Doctors assisting in clinical studies for the beauty industry. Moreover she has a minor in Art and her paintings have been displayed at FIU. She is also a certified aesthetician.
